UKR is proud to welcome back Jay Denham for our 250th release and what an EP this is! Known for his impeccable forward-thinking techno, Jay delivers ultra-modern, deep, jacking, raw techno for the heads titled the 'Valley Of Dreams' EP. As the founder of Black Nation Records in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jay has been at the forefront of techno culture for decades and is known not only known for his visionary musical taste but also for his fierce DJ sets that leave crowds drenched with sweat and lit with drama. Mr. Denham's music is mature, rhythmic and saturated with lush Detroit and tense Chicago vibes, fusing dynamic elements of both cities into attitude-fueled underground techno weapons that jack tough. From the surreal synth and moody cinematic masterpiece titled 'Dreams', to the futuristic jack attack ode to old school warehouse vibes in 'Da Box', to the driving urban ebb and flow of 'Push It', and finally wrapping up the EP with an emotionally evocative, soul bending and sonically inspiring anthem 'Highway Of Tears', Jay Denham show us how it's done, delivering what could be his most powerful bodies of work to-date. This man is an artist of the highest caliber, a conduit of powerful truths conveyed through his timeless music. It's with great honor that we present Jay Denham and his Valley of Dreams EP.
