After releasing scorching EP after scorching EP, UKR is proud to welcome underground techno hero, Michael Wells aka G.T.O. back to the imprint. This man is in heavy rotation for a reason! Coming off of Dave Clarke dropping the last self-titled EP on UKR 'Roll With The Funk' at Melkweg ADE 2021, we're proud to present 'Hold On' EP. This beast of a record was inspired by the classic techno and warehouse tracks produced in the mid 90's and built around the idea of going back to the jacking basics. The self-titled gem off this storming release is a homage to all of the brilliant tracks, artists, and cities where techno, new and old, have a presence. This track is an anthem that embodies the raw synth sound of yesterday with a focus blasting things up into another dimension. It's all about getting the packed floor to 'Hold On'. Next up...laced with futuristic effects, wall-shaking percussion, and wicked vocal manipulations, 'Get Ya Ass' is a return to classic high intensity bangin music for a new generation of party people. To top things off Michael Wells aka G.T.O. continues the attack on this essential release by compelling the dance floor to jack their bodies with two more club stormers titled 'Clap' and 'Bonk'...both ramped up, quirky, tweaky analog body melters with chopped up vocal stabs and mind-bending synth action that carry on the passion and party atmosphere that this record embodies.
